WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The critically-acclaimed Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago (GJDC) presents its spring engagement at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance. This engagement will feature the world premiere of a fun, new, rhythm-focused "out of the box" full-company work from Artistic Associate Autumn Eckman, plus six popular works from GJDC's acclaimed repertoire: Davis Robertson's "Entropy" (2002), Jon Lehrer's "Cesura" (2000), Sam Watson's "Hi Jinks"(1998), Kiesha Lalama's "Alegria" (2011), Christopher Huggins "Pyrokinesis" (2007) and Lindsey Leduc's "Gravity" (2009). The March engagement is part of GJDC's 2011-2012 "Passion & Fire" season.
