WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The critically acclaimed Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago showcases their greatest hits in "Ovations," featuring an exhilarating program of works from the company's acclaimed repertoire that have consistently evoked critical acclaim and standing ovations.
The program for both evenings will include "Can't Take This Away" (1997) choreographed by Randy Duncan; "Prey" (2003) by former Hubbard Street Dance Chicago member and Movin' Out alum Ron DeJesus; "Entropy" (2002) by former Joffrey Ballet company principal Davis Robertson; "Pyrokinesis" (2007) the award-winning work was created for GJDC by independent choreographer and former Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater dancer Christopher Huggins; plus two additional selections from GJDC's critically acclaimed repertoire.
