Funny Girl is the musical comedy that recalls the splendor of the Ziegfeld Follies through the story of its greatest comic star Fanny Brice. Discovered at the age of 18 by Florenz Ziegfeld, Fanny goes on to tremendous stardom, making people all over the world marvel not only at her amazing comic abilities but also her powerful voice. Behind all the show business glitz and glamour, however, lays the heart of a girl looking for love. When suave, handsome gambler Nick Amstein enters her life, Fanny finds that being "The Greatest Star" has its share of both laughter and tears.
