How do words get invented anyway? When 5th grade teacher Mrs. Granger decides to teach her students just that and more about the words they use every day, she unknowingly sparked the creative mind of class prankster Nick Allen. Nick creates his own word… frindle. And his word spreads like wildfire - first among his classmates, then throughout the school and even out into the town! It's a fun and inspiring story about creativity and the power of words. Recommended for Grades 4-8.
