Forbidden Broadway's creator Gerard Alessandrini has been at it once again, mining the recent Broadway seasons to affectionately lampoon the offerings of the Great White Way. This production features brand new parodies of productions including Young Frankenstein, Spring Awakening, Little Mermaid, A Chorus Line and Legally Blonde, the star turns of  Patti LuPone in Gypsy, Mandy Patinkin and Kristin Chenoweth, plus some Forbidden Broadway classics.  A Forbidden Broadway Christmas uses the format of a Celebrity Christmas Variety television special to poke some fun at holiday season icons including Celene Dion, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Little Drummer Boy, Whoopi Goldberg, Tony Bennett, Liza Minnelli, Kathie Lee Gifford, Barbra Streisand, Ella Fitzgerald, and dozens of other favorites from holidays past and present.
