Only the musical and lyrical genius of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice could create a spectacle to match this larger than life woman. Evita is based on the life of Eva Duarte-Peron, wife of Argentine dictator Juan Peron. Loved by the masses long after her death, she rose from the slums of Buenos Aires to become Argentina's First Lady. This epic musical of her life story is a tale as powewrful and seductive as the woman herself.
