It's July, 1966 on the French Riviera, and the First Lady of Song, Ella Fitzgerald, has invited a few of her favorite musicians (and you!) to jam, reminisce and celebrate her love of music in a landmark concert. Ella, featuring a book by Jeffrey Hatcher, is conceived by Rob Ruggiero and Dyke Garrison, with musical arrangements by Danny Holgate. Ruggiero directs.
