Deathtrap has it all - deceit, lies, amorous characters, mind readers, twists, turns and laughs. Sidney Bruhl used to be the toast of the town and the theatre world's leading playwright - but glory is a fleeting thing! His plays stink, his bank account smells even worse and his world is caving in fast. Then the break of-a-lifetime comes in the mail. Bruhl gets a brilliant new work by one of his seminar students, Clifford, who's looking for his mentor's input. Sidney reads the script, knows it's money in the bank and offers to help the aspiring playwright. But Sidney's real plan is for he and his wife to permanently edit the gifted student from the face of the earth and publish the play as his own. Things get crazy fast when the nosey and psychic neighbor, and his meddling and observant personal attorney get involved.
