WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Concerto Chicago, A Percussive Concert for the Stage - a mouthful - say it loud! The Rock of Ages Concert swinging low and high. A Show of Shows that chariots back and forth proud. Sophisticated gents and ladies all - O my! From Phillis Wheatley, poet of the Independence War, to Lem Louis Gulliver - slammer-preacher-poet and more. It's pure of heart and pure of thought - almost Cane sugar bubblin' brown sweet butter for your toast-a transfiguration of your expectations-a reaffirmation of your confirmation of the power of the written, spoken, all-sung word. For intelligent children of all ages-now you hear it-now it's-word!-heard. The preview performance on Saturday, April 19 begins at 8:00pm (one performance only.) There is a preview performance on Tuesday, April 22 at 7:30pm. Opening night is Wednesday, April 23 at 7:30pm.
