Chicken by Matthew Kerns and Striptease by Tekki Lomnicki are next up in Victory Gardens Theater's Crip Slam Sundays series of performances, readings, and other events that promote, explore and celebrate disability culture.
Chicken, by Matthew Kerns, is a one-man quest for life, liberty and the pursuit of healthiness in the shadow of HIV.
In Striptease, Little Person Tekki Lomnicki sheds her denial about having a disability to find herself at a Little People of America Conference with the Mayor of Munchkinland.
Now in its 15th year, the Victory Gardens Access Project is a nationally recognized model outreach effort designed to involve people with disabilities in all aspects of theater, both on and off the stage.
