BackStage Theatre Co. brings its own spin to the swashbuckling thriller that tells the story of Elizabeth Presberty, daughter to the governor of the island of Tobago, and her transformation to ruthless pirate captain, Bloody Bess. Bloody Bess: A Tale of Piracy and Revenge is an evening of murder, betrayal, and revenge, conceived by Stuart Gordon, written by William J. Norris and John Ostrander, and directed by award winning fight choreographer Geoff Coates.
