Within Jorge Ignacio Cortiñas' Blind Mouth Singing, secrets flourish in an unknown Caribbean town when Reiderico begins sneaking out of the house to see his best friend living at the bottom of a well and his aunt Bolivia begins treating syphilis patients in an open-air market.
