WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
After scattering Jim's ashes, his family struggles to deal with their loss, seeking to discover why a man who seemed to have it all would take his own life. Their shared grief is interrupted by the intrusion of Jim's long-time mistress. Her presence is the catalyst for each to confront his or her own buried feelings in Aline Lathrop's A Piece of Bone.
