WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Sssshhhh! Are you listening? Do you see me? I have something to say! Thresholds ensemble members and Chicago police officers explore the fight for that limited space that is "me," "you" and "us". These are our thoughts, our dreams, our lives interrupted; shared through original monologues, music, scenes, stories, improvisation and role-play. The Thresholds Theatre Arts Project unites professional actors and directors from Chicago's vast theatre community with people who have mental illness from Thresholds programs in a unique collaborative production that showcases the frequently misunderstood and rarely heard artistic voices of the mentally ill. All shows are followed by post show discussion opportunities.
