This year's production of the Goodman's timeless classic will feature a brand-new Ebenezer Scrooge: Chicago's own John Judd, who appeared recently in Goodman's outstanding production of Shining City. Director William Brown returns for his fourth year, after receiving critical acclaim for his past productions. Goodman Theatre's A Christmas Carol has delighted Chicago audiences since the very first production over thirty years ago when the Chicago Tribune raved: "magic took over the show." Charles Dickens' classic story, the exceptional actors and the miraculous stagecraft have made A Christmas Carol a beloved Chicago tradition.
