Jerusalem Extends at Profiles Theatre

Jez Butterworth’s drama adds four weeks to its Chicago run.

Chicago's Profiles Theatre will extend its production of Jez Butterworth's Jerusalem, directed by Artistic Director Joe Jahraus. The production opened March 10 and was originally slated to run through April 3. Performances will now run through May 22.

Original cast members will continue in their roles, including ensemble member Darrell W. Cox as Rooster along with guest artists David Cady, Jr., Braden Crothers, Cody Davis, Duane Deering, artistic associate Jeff Gamlin, Lyssie Garrison, Alison Hixon, Christian Isely, Theo Moss, Erika Napoletano, Annie Pfohl, Eric Salas, Jake Szczepaniak, Samantha Tennant, Patrick Thornton, and Scott Wolf.

To make room for the extension, Profiles' production of The Village Bike will now begin performances August 26. Written by Penelope Skinner and also directed by Jahraus, performances will run through October 16 with an official September 1 press opening.
