Moby Dick begins its run tonight at Lookingglass Theatre. Melville’s classic tale of fate versus free will is adapted for the stage by David Catlin. Aboard the Pequod with Captain Ahab and a host of unforgettable characters, Ishmael tells the harrowing tale of one man’s madness when he pits himself against the ultimate leviathan, the Great White Whale.

Directed and adapted by David Catlin from Herman Melville’s novel, the show features Jamie Abelson as Ishmael, Kareem Bandealy as Starbuck, Emma Cadd as Fate 3, Raphael Cruz as Pip, Christopher Donahue as Ahab, Anthony Fleming II as Queequeg, Kasey Foster as Fate 2, Raymond Fox as Stubb, Javen Ulambayar as Tashtego, and Monica West as Fate 1.

Performances will run through August 9.
