White Christmas starts its run at Drury Lane this evening.

The show follows two army buddies, Bob and Phil, who have transformed themselves into Broadway stars. In turn, they follow two sisters, Betty and Judy, to a small Vermont inn, where the sisters are set to perform. With the inn falling on hard times, the duos come together to put on a festive show to save it. The musical features well-known songs such as "Blue Skies," "Count Your Blessings," "I Love a Piano," "I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm," and "White Christmas."

The show is directed by artistic director William Osetek, with a book by David Ives and Paul Blake and music and lyrics by Irving Berlin. It features Sean Allan Krill as Bob Wallace, Matt Raftery as Phil Davis, Gina Milo as Betty Haynes, Erika Stephan as Judy Haynes, Alene Robertson as Martha Watson, Don Forston as General Henry Waverly, and Harry Bouvy as Ralph Sheldrake.

"The holidays are a special time here at Drury Lane," said Osetek, "and this year will be no exception with our production of White Christmas, featuring Irving Berlin’s classic songs that audiences know and love, combined with spirited choreography by Matthew Crowle. Together with this talented cast and creative team, we hope to transport our audiences with this timeless holiday tale."

The creative team includes Matthew Crowle (choreography), Kevin Depinet (scenic design), Robert Kuhn (costume design), Lee Fiskness (lighting design), Ray Nardelli (sound design), and Rick Jarvie (wig and hair design).

Performances will run through January 3.
