Drury Lane Theatre for Young Audiences Announces A Christmas Carol Casting

Charles Dickens’ classic takes the stage in a production geared for children.

Casting has been announced for the Drury Lane Theatre for Young Audiences production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, running through December 23.

The production is described as follows: "The story opens one cold, lonely Christmas Eve night, seven years to the day that Ebenezer Scrooge’s business partner, Jacob Marley passed away. That evening, Scrooge is visited by three ghosts, each traveling through time to show Scrooge the joys of Christmas from his past, present and future. Together with Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim and the whole Cratchit family, Scrooge is redeemed, vowing to keep Christmas in his heart all year long."

A Christmas Carol features a cast lead by Torrey Hanson as Ebenezer Scrooge, Andrew Weir as Bob Cratchit, James Krag as Jacob Marley/Topper/Old Joe, Don Forston as Mr. Fezziwig/Ghost of Christmas Present, Rob Riddle as Fred/Young Scrooge, Casey Lyons as Tiny Tim, Cameron Conforti as Tiny Tim, Amy Montgomery as Ghost of Christmas Past/Mrs. Cratchit, Sasha Hildebrand as Mrs. Fezziwig/Cleaning Lady, Tina Gluschenko as Charity Woman/Laundress, Colleen Fee as Belle/Abby, Amy Orman as Martha/Emily, Jake Mahler as Charity Man/Undertaker, and Tiffany Tatreau as Belinda/Fan.

The production is directed by directed by Scott Calcagno and choreographed by Robyn Robbins, with music direction by Ann McMann.
