BoHo Theatre Announces Casting for Tartuffe

BoHo Theatre has announced casting for a contemporary translation of Molière’s Tartuffe, to run January 13 – February 12 at Theater Wit. Peter Robel will direct.

With a translation by Ranjit Bolt, the production uses the anachronistic mashup genre called steampunk to explore what happens the patriarch of a wealthy family who falls under the spell of Tartuffe, a con-man masquerading as a man of God.

The cast will include Christa Buck, Chris Ballou, Luke Daigle, Daria Harper, Andrew Marikis, Michael Mercier, Saren Nofs-Snyder, Devan O’Mailia, Sean Thomas, and Jeremy Trager.

The design team will be comprised of Chad Bianchi (scenic design), Kate Setzer Kamphausen (costume design), and Nick Belley (lighting design).
