Full casting and creative team information has been announced for the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre (CST) production of Peter Weiss' The Investigation, January 21-31. Dorcy Rugamba will direct.

Adapted by Rugamba and Isabelle Gyselinx and translated by Jean Baudrillard, the original play was one of the earliest theatrical responses to the Holocaust. This adaptation puts the work in a more contemporary context with seven actors from Rwanda and Congo who have experienced the effects of genocide first-hand.

The cast will feature Leon Athanase Mandali, Lyliane Matabishi Mukase, Samuel Muteba Sangwa, Kenny Theophile Nkundwa, Thomas Nyarwaya, Olivier Rangira, and Aimable Twahirwa. The creative team will be lead by Fabienne Damiean (design) with Manu Deck (lighting) and Steve Jaribu Rukongi (technical production).
