Full Cast, Creative Team Set for Living Green at Victory Gardens

The full cast and creative team have been announced for the Victory Gardens production of Living Green, with direction by Andrea J. Dymond, to run January 23-March 1, with an opening set for February 2.

Gloria Bond Clunie’s play tackles the issues facing an African-American family living in a mostly white Chicago suburb who are contemplating a move back to the old neighborhood. The cast will feature Melanie E. Brezill (Shondra), Corey Marshall Cantrell (Buddy), Aurelia Clunie (Carol Freeman), Ann Joseph (Angela Freeman), Kenn E. Head (Frank Freeman), Samuel G. Roberson, Jr. (Dempsey Freeman), and Cedric Young (Mr. Parks).

The creative team will include Mary Badger (lighting design), Mikhail Fiksel (sound design), Mary Griswold (set design), and Judith Lundberg (costume design).
