Full Cast Announced for Aztec Idol Reading

Full casting has been announced for the reading of the new musical, Aztec Idol, which will be part of the Monday Night Musicals series at Theatre Building Chicago, to be presented December 8 at 7 pm. Sydney Chatman directs, with musical direction by Brandon A. Magid.

This show imagines the origin of music told through Aztec gods, and features a book by Christina Biggs with music & lyrics by Marianne Kallen. The cast will include Will Hare, Jack Sweeney, Julia Black, Alex Halverson, and Jacquelyn Prater.

Other upcoming concert readings include On the Brink (January 26), 40 Is the New 15 (Februray 23), Daughter of Beijing (April 20), and My Dead Irish Mother (May 18).
