Goodman Theatre Announces Full Cast for Christmas Carol

Full casting has been announced for the Goodman Theatre’s production of A Christmas Carol, to play November 19 – December 31. William Brown will direct this adaptation by Tom Creamer.

Based on Charles Dickens’ 1843 novella, A Christmas Carol is the tale of the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, who is opposed to holiday cheer and indifferent to the sufferings of the poor in Victorian London. Scrooge is visited by four ghosts who offer him the opportunity to sympathize with his fellow man.

As previously reported, renowned Chicago actor John Judd will star as Ebenezer Scrooge. The cast will also include Nate Burger as Dick Wilkins, Naren Chaudhry as Turkey Boy, Cameron Conforti (South Elgin) as Tiny Tim, Megan Delaney as Belinda, Susan Felder as Mrs. Fezziwig, Tim Gittings as Topper, Emma Gordon as Emily, Aaron Holland as Percy, Katie Jeep as Abby, Anish Jethmalani as the Ghost of Jacob Marley, John Lister as Mr. Fezziwig, Grant Mitchell as Peter, Eric Parks (Chicago) as Young Scrooge, Michael Perez as Mr. Ortle, Ron Rains as Bob Cratchit, Tiffany Scott as Belle, Christine Sherrill as Mrs. Cratchit, Susan Shunk as Ghost of Christmas Past, Lisa Tejero as Miss Crumb, Andy Truschinski as Fred, Penelope Walker as Ghost of Christmas Present, and Peyton Young as Martha.

Musicians will include Justin Amolsch, Greg Hirte, and Malcolm Ruhl. The creative team will feature Todd Rosenthal (set designer), Heidi Sue McMath (costume designer), Robert Christen (lighting designer), Cecil Averett (sound designer), Susan Hart (choreographer), and Andy Hansen (composer/music director).
