Chicago’s Jeff Awards to Honor Actors’ Equity Association’s 100th Anniversary
Actors’ Equity Association will receive a special award as this year’s Joseph Jefferson Awards to be held October 15 at the Drury Lane Oakbrook.
The awards honor the best in Chicago theater, and the organization is being recognized for their contributions to theater in Chicago.
Actors’ Equity Association, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary, is the union of professional actors and stage managers, protecting its’ members welfare in the work place, ensuring fair compensation, a safe environment and dignity, and an advocate of the arts in a free society.
