Adventure Stage Chicago Wins llinois Theatre Association Award

Adventure Stage Chicago has been honored as the recipient of the Illinois Theatre Association’s 2012 Award of Excellence in Theatre for Young Audiences. The award was presented at the Illinois Theatre Association’s 39th Annual Convention at the Irish American Heritage Center.

Adventure Stage Chicago, a program of Northwestern
University Settlement House, aims to create dynamic theater for young audiences that activates the imagination, inspires dialogue, and strengthens community among families, educators, and artists.

Other Illinois Theatre Association 2012 award winners included Laurel Serleth, Allan Kimball, Kevin Long, AgeQuake Theatres, Drury Lane Theatre, Steven Jacobs, Chris Jones, and Mark Begovich.
