E. Faye Butler, Barbara Robertson, Gene Weygandt Set for Broadway in Chicago’s Working

E. Faye Butler, Barbara Robertson, and Gene Weygandt will star in the Broadway in Chicago production of the musical Working, to be presented at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place, beginning February 15. Additional casting will be announced at a later date. Gordon Greenberg will direct.

Based on the book by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Studs Terkel, this newly revised adaption by Stephen Schwartz and Nina Faso is a musical exploration of 26 people from all walks of life. It features songs by Schwartz, along with work by Craig Carnelia, Micki Grant, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mary Rodgers, Susan Birkenhead, and James Taylor.

The production will feature scenic design by Beowulf Boritt.
