Redtwist Announces 2009-2010 Season

Redtwist has announced details for its 2009-2010 season, which will open with Peter Shaffer’s Lettice and Lovage (October 10-November 8), to be directed by Steve Scott and feature Millicent Hurley (Lettice), Jan Ellen Graves (Lotte), Jim Morley (Bardolph), and Maura Kidwell (Miss Framer).

Next up will be Martin McDonagh’s The Pillowman (November 21-December 20), directed by Kimberly Senior and featuring Andrew Jessop (Katurian), Peter Oyloe (Michal), Tom Hickey (Tupolski), and Johnny Garcia (Ariel). Polly Stenham’s That Face will follow, January 30-February 28, directed by Trudie Kessler and featuring Peter Oyloe (Henry), Patrice Egleston (Martha), Laura Coover (Mia), and Nora Fiffer (Izzy).

Shaffer’s Equus will be presented March 27-April 25, directed by Michael Colucci based on the original direction by Joe Stead. The cast will feature Peter Oyloe (Alan Strang), Brian Parry (Dr. Dysart), Jan Ellen Graves (Hesther), and Deb Rodkin (Dora Strang). Parry will also star as Paul Sheldon in Redtwist’s production of Misery (June 5-July 3), adapted by Simon Moore from the Stephen King original, and also featuring Debra Rodkin as Annie Wilkes. The season will conclude with Arthur Miller’s Incident at Vichy (July 24-August 22), with director and cast to be announced.
