Patrick Andrews will join previously announced cast members Francis Guinan and Tracy Letts in Steppenwolf Theatre’s production of David Mamet’s American Buffalo, to run December 3-February 7. Amy Morton will direct.

The play is set in a cluttered, run-down Chicago junk shop, where three small-time crooks plot to steal a valuable buffalo nickel. Letts is best known as the Pulitzer Prize winning playwright of August: Osage County, which featured both Guinan and Morton (who was Tony-nominated for her performance).

The design team will include Kevin Depinet (sets), Nan Cibula-Jenkins (costumes), Pat Collins (lights), and Rob Milburn and Michael Bodeen (sound and original music).
