Gina Milo, Chris Critelli to Star in Drury Lane Theatre’s Xanadu

Drury Lane Theatre is to present Xanadu, September 6-October 28 at the Drury Lane Oakbrook Terrace. Rachel Rockwell will direct and choreograph, with musical direction by Roberta Duchak.

Based on the Universal Pictures movie of the same title and featuring an original hit score by Jeff Lynne and John Farrar and a book by Douglas Carter Beane, Xanadu follows the journey of Greek muse, Kira, who descends from Mt. Olympus to Venice Beach in 1980 on a quest to inspire a struggling artist, Sonny, to achieve the greatest
artistic creation of all time: a roller disco.

The cast will feature Gina Milo (Clio/Kira) and Chris Critelli (Sonny) as well as Stephanie Binetti (Euterpe), Sean Blake (Terpsicore), Gary Carlson (Thalia), Robin Childress, Jake Klinkhammer, Tammy Mader (Erato), Christine Sherrill (Melponeme), Nancy Voigts (Calliope), and Gene Weygandt (Danny).

The design team will include Kevin Depinet (set design), Jesse Klug (lighting design), Mike Tutaj (projection design), Kurt Alger (costume design), Garth Helm (sound design), and Rick Jarvie (wig design).
