Anjali Bhimani, Chris Kipiniak and More Set for Lookingglass Theatre Company’s Metamorphoses

Lookingglass Theatre Company has announced casting for its upcoming production of Mary Zimmerman’s Metamorphoses, running September 19-November 18. Zimmerman herself, an ensemble member, will direct.

Metamorphoses, which debuted at Lookingglass in 1998, is based on the Myths of Ovid and features gorgeous imagery and breathtaking storytelling.

The cast will feature members of the original Lookingglass Chicago cast Anjali Bhimani (Myrrha and Others), Lawrence E. DiStasi (Hermes and Others), Marilyn Dodds Frank (Therapist and Others), Raymond Fox (Midas and Others), Douglas Hara (Phaeton and Others), Chris Kipiniak (Erysichthon and Others), and Louise Lamson (Alcyone and Others) as well as returning cast member Anne Fogarty (Aphrodite and Others) and new cast members Usman Ally (Ceyx and Others) and Lauren Orkus (Eurydice and Others).
