Broadway veteran Mara Davi will star as Cassie in the Marriott Theatre’s production of A Chorus Line, to run September 1-October 31, with an opening on September 12. Mark Lococo will direct, with choreography by Rachel Rockwell.

The Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical concerns 17 Broadway dancers auditioning for spots on a chorus line. The audition takes a personal turn as they are asked to reveal their individual stories — ranging from funny to wrenching. The musical was conceived and originally choreographed and directed by Michael Bennett, and features a book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante, music by Marvin Hamlisch and lyrics by Edward Kleban.

Davi made her Broadway debut in the 2006 revival of A Chorus Line, playing the role of Maggie. Her other Broadway credits include starring roles in The Drowsy Chaperone and Irving Berlin’s White Christmas.

The cast will also include Tim Gregory as Zach, Anika Ellis as Shiela, Nina Fluke as Val, Nicole Hren as Kristine, Pilar Millhollen as Morales, Pegah Kadkhodaian as Bebe, Danielle Plisz as Maggie, Jastine Dumlao as Connie, Laura Taylor as Judy, Jameson Cooper as Don, Adrian Aguilar as Al, Drew Nellessen as Bobby, Max Kumangai as Richie, Matt Raftery as Larry, Adam Estes as Gregory, Alex Aguilar as Mike, Bryan Knowlton as Paul, Zachary Gray as Mark as well as Chelsea Barker, Gary Carlson, Jordan Fife Hunt, Chie Isobe, Patrick Keefe, Brandon Koller, Ericka Mac, Ashton Napier and Adrianna Parson.

The artistic team will also include Aaron Thielen (lead artistic director), Dr. Ryan Nelson (musical direction), Tom Ryan (set design), Nancy Missimi (costume design), Diane Williams (lighting design), Bob Gilmartin (sound design), Rob Rahn (props design), and Patti Garwood (conductor).
