Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook Terrace Announces 2011 Season

Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook Terrace has announced the five productions which will comprise its 2011 season.

The season will open with the Elton John-Tim Rice musical Aida, directed and choreographed by Jim Corti (March 17-May 29), followed by Neil Simon's comedy Broadway Bound, directed by David New (June 9-July 31).

Rachel Rockwell will direct and choreograph both the Stephen Sondheim musical thriller Sweeney Todd (August 11-October 9), and the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic The Sound of Music (October 20-December 23). The season will close with William Osetek's production of the musical Gypsy, choreographed by Tammy Mader (January 19-March 25).
