Arlene Malinowski to Bring Aiming for Sainthood to Victory Gardens in September

Arlene Malinowski will perform her solo show Aiming for Sainthood at the Richard Christiansen Theater at Victory Gardens Biograph Theater, September 20-26. Will Rogers will direct the production, which is being offered as part of the theater’s Fresh Squeezed series.

The piece is the second part of Malinowski’s autobiographical trilogy, which began with What Does the Sun Sound Like?, and focuses on a middle-aged woman who moves back in with her deaf mother who has been diagnosed with cancer. Aiming for Sainthood is told through both sign language and voice.

In addition to her work as a playwright, Malinowski has appeared on such series as CSI, ER, The Practice, The X Files, Any Day Now.
