Sharon Gless To Appear at September 26 Screening of Hannah Free in Chicago

Emmy Award winner Sharon Gless is scheduled to appear at a special screening of the film adaptation of Claudia Allen’s play Hannah Free in Chicago on Saturday, September 26 at the Gene Siskel Film Center. The film will play there, September 25-October 1.

The film, directed by Wendy Jo Carlton, stars Gless as a fiercely independent woman who fights to see her lesbian partner one last time in a nursing home. The cast also includes Taylor Miller, Kelli Strickland, Ann Hagemann, and Jacqui Jackson.

Hannah Free had its world premiere in San Francisco in June. It received the Audience Award for Best Feature at the Philadelphia QFest in July.
