Monty Python’s Spamalot To Receive Regional Premiere at Drury Lane Oakbrook Terrace

Monty Python’s Spamalot will get its Chicago regional theater premiere at Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook Terrace. This new production will be directed by William Osetek and will conclude the theater’s just-announced 2010 season, running December 31, 2010 – March 13, 2011.

The theater’s 2010 season will begin in the spring with Rachel Rockwell’s staging of Ragtime (March 18 – May 23). The musical Sugar (June 3 – August 1), adapted from the movie Some Like It Hot, features songs from Jule Styne and Bob Merrill and will be directed by Jim Corti. David H. Bell’s revival of The Hot Mikado (August 13 – October 3) and Bill Jenkins’ staging of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (October 14 – December 19) will round out the theater’s season.
