Based on Gospel According to Matthew, Stephen Schwartz's Godspell is coming to Collaboraction Studio 300 in the Flat Iron Arts Buildingin Chicago. The Brown Paper Box Co. production will run September 20-October 7.
This modern interpretation of a classic musical uses actor-musicians who mix improvisation and contemporary themes to illustrate a message of kindness, community, and hope. Godspell stars T.J. Anderson, Jeanne T. Arrigo, Megan Ensley, Veronica Garza, Michelle Limon, Andrew Lund, Jake Mahler, Pavi Proczko, Stephanie Rohr, and Nick Shoda.
M. William Panek will direct and design the sets, with musical direction by Katie Colby and choreography by Daniel Spagnuolo.
