Chazz Palminteri to Star in a Free Staged Reading of Unorganized Crime

Chazz Palminteri is set to star in a free staged reading of Kenny D’Aquila’s Unorganized Crime, August 6 at 7:30pm in the mainstage at the Victory Gardens Biograph Theater in Chicago. Edward Torres will direct.

In Unorganized Crime Gino Sicuso, the youngest son and reluctant killer of a Capo di Capi, is banished from the family for his inability to follow orders. Three years later, his wife Rosie has Gino on the road to redemption by insisting he wait tables to help lessen his regard for the human race.

In addition to Palminteri, the cast will include Justina Machado, Kenny D’Aquila, Anish Jethmalani, and Howard Witt.

Palminteri starred on Broadway in his solo show, A Bronx Tale, and his stage credits also include the 2002 Off-Broadway production of The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui. Film credits include The Usual Suspects and his Academy Award nominated role in Bullets Over Broadway.
