Nathan Lane and Brian Dennehy Set for Goodman’s The Iceman Cometh

Tony Award winners Nathan Lane and Brian Dennehy will star in the Goodman Theatre’s production of Eugene O”Neill’s The Iceman Cometh, to run April 22-June 10. Robert Falls, the theater’s artistic director, will helm the production. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.


Lane, who will play the central role of Hickey, has won Tony Awards for The Producers and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. He is a 2011 Emmy Award nominee for his guest starring role on Modern Family.


Dennehy, who will play Larry Slade, received Tonys for his work in Death of a Salesman and O’Neill’s Long Day’s Journey Into Night. He last appeared on Broadway in O’Neill’s Desire Under the Elms, directed by Falls.
