Joy Farmer-Clary, Jeff Lillico, David Lively, et al. Set for Chicago Shakespeare Theatre’s Romeo and Juliet

Chicago Shakespeare Theatre has announced casting for Romeo and Juliet, to run September 15 – November 21. Gale Edwards will direct the production.

The company will feature Jeff Lillico and Joy Farmer-Clary in the title roles, along with Zach Appelman (Tybalt), Judy Blue (Lady Capulet), Steve Haggard (Benvolio0, Kenn E. Head (Escalus/Apothecary), Ora Jones (Nurse), John Judd (Lord Capulet), David Lively (Friar Laurence), Brendan Marshall-Rashid (Paris); Tom McElroy (Lord Montague), Lily Mojekwu (Lady Montague), Ariel Shafir (Mercutio), Scott Westerman (Peter), and ensemble members James Elly, Brandon Ford, Adam Gutkin, Jonathan Hicks, Ben Huth, Jude Roch and Marvin Quijada.

The creative team will include Brian Sidney Bembridge (scenic design), Ana Kuzmanic (costume design), John Culbert (lighting design), and Lindsay Jones (sound and original music).
