James Bohnen, Jeffrey Carlson, Steve Edwards Set for Remy Bumppo’s Season Salon

Remy Bumpo Theatre Company has announced its 2010-2011 season, which will be kicked off with the company’s annual Season Salon, a panel discussion and reception in which the themes of upcoming plays are discussed. Jeffrey Carlson, Steve Edwards, Storer H. Rowley, Bunky Cushing and James Bohnen are scheduled to participate in the event.

The company’s first offering for the year will be be Tom Stoppard’s Night and Day, to run September 22 – October 31. James Bohnen will direct this play about competing British war correspondents who are attempting to crack a story on a civil war being in a fictional African country. The company will feature Greg Matthew Anderson, David Darlow, Shawn Douglass, Linda Gillum, John Babbo, Jeff Cummings, Ernest Perry, Jr., and Michael Pogue.

The theater will also produce Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest (November 24 – January 9), directed by Shawn Douglass and featuring Darlow as Lady Bracknell, as well as Anderson, Gillum, Annabel Armour, Kelsey Brennan, Peter Cieply, Paul Hurley, and Bill Watt.

Bohnen will stage the theater’s third offering, Edward Albee’s The Goat or, Who Is Sylvia? (March 30 – May 8), which will feature Armour and Nick Sandys, Will Allan and Michael Joseph Mitchell.
