The Crucible, Escape From Happiness Set for Infamous Commonwealth’s 2010 Season

Infamous Commonwealth Theatre has announced the two productions in its 2010 season, which will focus on the topic of redemption. Both will be presented on the West Stage of Raven Theatre.

ICT Artistic Director Chris Maher will helm Arthur Miller’s The Crucible (March 22-May 2), set during the Salem Witch Trials of 1692 and written in direct response to the McCarthy trials in the 1950s. Genevieve Thompson will direct George F. Walker’s Escape From Happiness (July 10-August 8), which follows the idiosyncratic members of one very broken family in search of wholeness again.

In addition, the company will present the 5th annual ICT 24 Hour Project on January 16, at the Vittum Theater.
