John Herrera will be featured in Theatre Thursdays at the Village Players Performing Arts Center, a new event held in association with the League of Chicago Theatres, August 28. The event will include pre and post show events that bookend the world premiere of Love in the Middle Ages. Jason A. Fleece will direct, with musical direction by Tyler Beattie.

At 7pm a reception will be held in the Village Players Black Box, with wine, hors d’oevres, and John Herrera will perform a preview of another world premiere production, The Medium At Large, which is slated to open next in the Village Players’ line up. At 8pm enjoy the opening of Love in the Middle Ages, a story of people over 40 years old jumping back into the dating game. A special Q&A session will be held in the theatre with the authors of Love in the Middle Ages, Robert Solone and Scott Urban, directly after the performance.

The production team also includes Alec Bernstein (lighting design), Gintare Jaloveckaite (costume design), Bill Jenkins (set design), John List (sound design), and Christopher Pazdernik (choreograph).
