Mickey Dolenz, Alison Krauss, William Shatner Featured in Paramount Theatre Season

The Paramount Theatre in Aurora, Illinois has announced its 2012-2013 season of concerts and theater productions.

Theater productions include Grease directed by Michael Unger (September 12-October 7), Annie directed by Rachel Rockwell (November 21-December 30); Meredith Wilson’s The Music Man directed by Rockwell (January 16-February 3); and Fiddler on the Roof directed by Jim Corti (March 6-24).

Productions for children include Doktor Kaboom! (October 2); Skippyjon Jones (November 27), Laura Ingalls Wilder (February 5); Muntu (February 7); Civil War (March 12); and The Little Engine That Could Earns Her Whistle (April 4).

Concert performances include Mickey Dolenz, Flo & Eddie, Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, The Buckinghams, and The Grass Roots (August 24), Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas (Aug. 26), Rodney Carrington (Sept. 8), The Capitol Steps (Oct. 12), Ballet Folklorico Quetzalcoatl (Oct. 19), The Indigo Girls (Nov. 3), William Shatner in SHATNER’S WORLD: We Just Live In It… (Jan. 4); Bobby Vinton (Feb. 14); Stayin’ Alive: One Night of the Bee Gees (Mar. 30), and The Ides of March and Herman’s Hermits with Peter Noone (May 18).
