Angela Ingersoll, Peter Simon Hilton to Star in Drury Lane’s The 39 Steps

Casting has been announced for the Drury Lane Theatre’s production of The 39 Steps, running July 5-August 26, with an opening set for July 12.

Peter Simon Hilton will star as Richard Hannay in Patrick Barlow’s four-member espionage comedy, which is based on the 1915 novel of the same title by John Buchan and Alfred Hitchcock’s 1935 film. Angela Ingersoll will play Annabella/Margaret/Pamela, with Jeff Dumas and Paul Kalina as the Clowns.

David New directs the production, which features scenic design by Kevin Depinet, costume design by Tracy Dorman, lighting design by Rita Pietraszek, sound design by Michael Bodeen and Rob Milburn of MILBOMUSIC, wig design by Rick Jarvie, prop design by Nick Heggestad, and dialect coaching by Cecille O’Reilly.
