Steppenwolf Theatre Company has announced the three companies that will be presented as part of its second annual Garage Rep season, to run February 16 - April 24. Each group will present one production in this rotating repertory series.

Sideshow Theatre Company's production of Elizabeth Meriweather's Heddatron, directed by Jonathan L. Green, is a revision to Ibsen's Hedda Gabler that imagines that a Michigonian housewife is kidnapped by robots and forced to perform in their version of the play.

In addition, The Strange Tree Group will present Emily Schwartz's The Three Faces of Doctor Crippen, which explores the real-life case of Dr. H.H. Crippen, an Englishman and murderer from the turn of the last century. The third production in the Garage Rep series will be UrbanTheater Company's production of José Rivera's Sonnets for an Old Century. Set in a waiting room of the afterlife, the dream-like play will be directed by Madrid St. Angelo, in collaboration with Juan Castañeda and Ivan Vega.
