William Brown and Larry Yando will star in Writers’ Theatre’s summer production of Nixon’s Nixon by Russell Lees, August 19-September 28, at their theater in Glencoe. Michael Halberstam will direct. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

Just in time for the elections, Writers’ Theatre’s will reprise its award-winning production, which follows Kissinger and Nixon in a hilariously imagined story of what might have happened in the Lincoln sitting room the night before Nixon resigned.

The creative team for this production will include Sarah Heberlein (costume design), Jack Magaw (set design), Keith Parham (lighting design), and Josh Schmidt (sound design).

Lees’ other works include The Cast of the Blue Narcissus, The Shepards Play, The Foggiest Notion, and Monday Night Football.
