Directed by Russ Tutterow, the two-hander, which features Peter DeFaria and Randy Steinmeyer, examines the friendship of of two police officers as they deal with family and duty when a routine domestic disturbance call results in the death of a child.

The creative team includes Tom Burch (scenic design), Jeff Pines (lighting design), Samantha Jones (costume design), and Mike Tutaj (sound design).

A Steady Rain premiered at the Chicago Dramatists in 2007 before moving to the Royal George Theatre. It was seen on Broadway in the 2009-2010 season starring Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman.
