The new musical White Noise, currently playing Chicago’s Royal George Theatre, will now close on May 15. Sergio Trujillo has directed and choreographed the show, and Oscar winner Whoopi Goldberg is among the producers.

White Noise features a book by Matte O’Brien and music and lyrics by Robert Morris, Steven Morris and Joe Shane. It was originally conceived by Ryan J. Davis with a story and characters by Joe Drymala.

The show follows a pair of sisters who are discovered by a powerful record producer, and groomed into a well-packaged rock/pop band, which mixes irresistible harmonies with coded rhetoric into chart-blazing hits.

In addition, the show will present a live broadcast concert on Wednesday, May 11 at 3pm. The broadcast will feature cast commentary and six musical numbers from the show, including “Mondays Suck,” “Hip Hop Country,” “Welcome to Eden,” “Life, Liberty & Happiness,” “W.T.F.”, and the newly added romantic ballad “Fireworks.”
The event can be screened at www.whitenoisemusical.com/live.
