Barbara Robertson to Star in Keith Huff’s The Detective’s Wife, Directed by Gary Griffin

Barbara Robertson will star in the world premiere of Keith Huff’s The Detective’s Wife, to be presented by Writers’ Theatre, May 24-July 31. Gary Griffin will direct.

In the play, Alice Conroy (Robertson) is the mother of two grown children, owner of a book store and wife of a Chicago homicide detective. When her husband is gunned down on the job, she is determined to find out who did it…and why.

The play is the second part of a loose trilogy of Chicago cop plays by Huff, which also include A Steady Rain and the in-development, And Tell us of the Night.

The production will feature scenic design by Kevin Depinet, costume design by Janice Pytel, lighting design by Heather Gilbert, original music and sound design by Rob Milburn and Michael Bodeen, projections design by Mike Tutaj and properties design by Nick Heggestad.
